Histoire oubliées, mémoire retrouvée de la déportation dans le Mantois

Dans le cadre d’une conférence organisée par la ville de Mantes-la-Jolie (Musée de l’Hôtel Dieu) nous avons été invités à assister à la présentation des élèves du lycée Condorcet de Limay « Histoires oubliées, mémoire retrouvée de la déportation dans le Mantois » Une très belle conférence qui nous a donné l’envie de partager une petite partie de cette matinée avec vous.
Bien sûr nous ne dévoilerons pas le détail des recherches de ces élèves car leur travail entre dans le cadre d’un concours national (Concours National de la Résistance et de la Déportation ou CNRD). Mais nous avons questionné l’un des « animateurs » de ce groupe, Monsieur Vincent TESSON, sur l’origine de ce travail. Nous vous partageons sa réponse ci-dessous et nous vous invitons à participer aux différents évènements qui vont se dérouler tout au long du mois de mai sur Mantes la Jolie et Limay suivant le calendrier ci dessous.

« Nous avons organisé ce temps dans le cadre du travail des élèves sur la Résistance. Certains ont participé aux CNRD mais la conférence n'était pas directement liée à cela.
Nous souhaitions après plusieurs mois de travail et de rencontres faire un retour sur la question de la déportation dans le Mantois. Ce sujet avait été abordé par M. Andro lors de son travail sur la famille Schimianski. Pour ma part, j'avais travaillé avec des élèves sur le cas de Limay où fut arrêtée Rwyka Tenenbaum et fut caché Henri Dauman.
Nous avons également évoqué la mémoire du camp d'internement d'Aincourt car nous participons chaque année à la commémoration.
16 élèves se sont engagés volontairement dans ce projet. Ils ont fait de nombreuses sorties (visite conférence au mémorial de la shoah, au mémorial de la déportation de l'île Saint-Louis, au Mont-Valérien et une visite thématique de Mantes dans la guerre).
Nous avions comme fil directeur de suivre les destins de Résistant(e)s déporté(e)s ou fusillé(e)s du Mantois et des Yvelines en particulier Jacqueline Fleury, qui aura 100 ans cette année et qui, étudiante, avait rejoint la Résistance.
En outre, nous sommes allés à Ravensbrück et à la Villa de Wannsee.
Il nous reste un objectif en cours de finalisation. Nous souhaitons produire une restitution vivante du travail d'écriture fictionnel actuellement en cours.
Les élèves se sont inspirés d'histoires vraies pour créer des œuvres littéraires ou des productions graphiques mettant en scène l’école/l'université et la résistance.
Nombreux sont ceux qui ont été touchés part le cas des enfants cachés et de la question de leur scolarisation.
C'est un des thèmes récurrents des travaux.
Ils font écho à la vie d'Henri Dauman qui avait fui Paris pour être caché à Limay et qui fut scolarisé à l'école Ferdinand Buisson.
Cette question de l'école et de la politique raciale les a beaucoup touchés.
Pour terminer, nous ferons une restitution de ces travaux les 26 mai à la médiathèque de Limay et 30 mai au pavillon Duhamel de Mantes la jolie. Celle-ci est en cours de construction grâce à l'aide de Bernard Martin Fargier. »
